I found this Isoma centering microscope in a drawer

Here the discription from ISOMA

M156130.4V-400

S40-VM with front view,
Shockproof eyepiece angled at 30°,
integrated rotating goniometric head 360°,
reading on vernier 10' graticule S110-15-001 with continuous cross lines and 16 numeralized concentric circles,
real image,
magnification 40x calibrated,
field of view 3,60mm,
working distance 55mm.
Diaphragm with locking system.

I know what the microscope is used for, but what is that device,
The microscope can be mounted in several ways, horizontally, vertically, up, down, left, right
Any idea what this could have been used for?
And what is the possible sales value of this

Hi

What you have is the terminal part of an EWAG WS11 microscope with arm.

I have no clue about the sale value but judging from the complete example below, it is probably not that much.
Much less than I would have thought for exotic swiss equipment !
