I'd believe what the BBC tells me before I'd believe what the gutter press in the UK tells me. I'm talking " Daily Mail ", " Daily Express " etc. We can only get the " Daily Telegraph " in our village in Spain and that's just as bad but with bigger words.

Looks like Boris has bitten off more than he can chew when he made the Tory rebels all walk the plank.

When " Fatty " Soames ( Churchill's Grandson ! ) isn't considered loyal enough for the Tory party it the seems to me it's the Tory Party that's got a problem. The Tory Party has been threatening to self destruct over Europe for years, I think now it's going to happen.

On a more humourous note a woman who'd been to bed with Soames likened the experience to " Having an old wardrobe fall on her with the key still in the lock ! "

    Regards Tyrone.

You pay to see the BBC but you buy newspapers. They (newspapers) write what they think their readers want to read as they must be sold. That made The News Of The World the success it was for years.

The newspapers with the most pictures are for those that can hardly read.

And ultimately broke it, and with (amongst others) one of it's former editors going to jail for 18 months in the process, ………...and cost it's owner a mint to boot

With where we are at the moment, it looks like if you cry about something for long enough, in the end you get your own way...

I think that's known as parliamentary sovereignty.

You might (or might not) find this US late-night host's take amusing:

Don't read too much into it.
Rumours are he's got a £500k/PA job lined up at IRCEurope with David Miliband...

All of the US Intelligence agencies agree that Russia meddled in the election, and are trying to do it again. Those that disagree include the "President", and his lackeys.

I wonder who I should side with. Perhaps the ones that have "Intelligence" as part of their mission statements...

Rumours? What I wrote was a fact.

If the rumour is true why quit the way he does? He could resign (after many years in parliament) and give a reason for stopping rather than "quit".

I'd imagine a good job with good pay is a reason all would understand for stopping. What he's doing is more like slamming the door.

At the moment you don't even have a real prime minister either

Surely if you feel you must comment my posts you can do better than that?

You can call him what you want camcan. What I'd call him is something else again

Surely there must be other things that can get you worked up than that?
