Gripe time

Rutland Tool did it again! I received their overstock and blowout flyer in the mail today. The sale started on Sept 15th and runs until Nov 15th.
Why do they send me this flyer a month after the sale has started?
At least this time I was able to get 10 out of the 12 items I wanted. The last time they were out of everything.
Sorry about the whining, but this just pisses me off when I miss out on a good price for something I need.

Interesting... seems like I get flyers like that every week from either J & L, Travers or Enco...I never paid any attention to the dates..

I bet the problem is in the third class mail delivery. It is handled by the USPS when they get around to it.

Some post offices are better than others.

Sometimes our church newsletter takes 3 weeks to travel 9 miles (well, probably it travels from Napa to Vallejo to Oakland to Vallejo to American Canyon.)

The mail can be delayed at any distribution center it passes through as well as the local post office on both ends.

Some post offices make certain that they clear thrid class regularly, some don't.
