I have read a few of your posts which were you pointing out some things in a sane manor. Why do you turn to insulting the other 98.5% of time? It is a unbecoming look on your part.

I totally stand by that comment too. There is no way that anyone would be so lock step with trump and doubling down on his lies without it being a cult. trump said it himself that he could shoot someone in the middle of fifth avenue without losing any supporters. That pretty much screams cult to me.

Of course his cult members will say that he was joking or it was locker room talk like the grab em by the pussy thing. Anything to please their master.

What you see here is what is happening everywhere.

For America there will be only one winner. No second place and no challengers will be tolerated. I don't expect I will be on the winning side.

Probably will resemble the great Chinese cultural purge to some extent.

Gonna make them artery popping assembly line argument between prodection and the union seem like Sunday school.

Well at least everywhere in the USA.
While the rest of the world from one end to another smiles and watches.....
I fear we have turned on ourselves. The entire system becomes paralyzed and who does not see that.
The hate or disdain seems to be growing at a pace I never thought I'd see.
Good friends and business aquatints have views that must be very carefully stepped around or talked about.
When this happens to the king of the hill. What does history say?
Oh I do love debate and will do either side freely but it is now way past that to so many I encounter.

As much fun as it is to see the food fight going on here... How did we as country end up here and will it get better or worse with time?
I see worse and not sure where that ends.

The post is there for everyone to see. I would have owned up to a mistake yet It is not my nature to do something wrong with the quotes. That you automatically resort to these kinds of tirades in response to my direct reply to your accusation only supports that you must resort to the easy mantra you dish out.

After showing a glimpse of humor and thought your brain overheated and now it is back to base reflexes mundane and boring as they are.

Inheritance taxes being the actual topic we have also mentioned the lower tax rate on investment income. Warren Buffet is mentioned in this discussion in regard to his own statement that his secretary pays a higher tax rate based on 100,000 per year income as a example in this article which is informative.

“ In a 2007 interview, Buffett explained that he took a survey of his employees and compared their tax rates to his. All told, he found that while he paid a total tax rate of 17.7%, the average tax rate for people in his office was 32.9%.”

The article here; Why Does Billionaire Warren Buffett Pay a Lower Tax Rate Than His Secretary? | The Motley Fool

The article is very clear and yet not even to complicated for Fred’s worker “blind worker squirrel” ranch hand to understand if there be a Braille version for it to read. It has never had a shortage of abundant nuts to find because they congregate in one place like magic.

    This is a picture of him once he has arrived and assimilated well into American society. We have them here see picture;
    529330fc-775d-4794-878e-c629da2b3e59.jpg

This is his best friend retired and living here and also from the Great State of Texas.

    cce03334-1c1e-4563-841d-14ddc4bbd6ae.jpg

Anyway seriously a quote from the article on the disparity.

“ In a 2007 interview, Buffett explained that he took a survey of his employees and compared their tax rates to his. All told, he found that while he paid a total tax rate of 17.7%, the average tax rate for people in his office was 32.9%.”

Honestly speaking about the difference between what he pays being lower than his secretary he has been viciously attacked for it like he is the Devil. Likely just the base envy we see here on display over successful and prosperous business people I guess.

Another good point or two on the issue for everyone’s consideration.

Now to be clear, Buffett's employees are not paying a higher tax bill; rather, they're paying a higher tax rate relative to their own income. But still, that calls out a major injustice with the tax system, and one that Buffett has been very vocal about.

So why is it that Buffett himself doesn't pay more tax? It's because the bulk of his income comes from dividends and long-term capital gains, which are taxed at a much lower rate than ordinary income.”

I think it is likely fair to discuss these things as they could relate to the topic quite closely.

For a very long time heavy taxation of the population under the top ten percent has been very heavy in reality. This whole business of the rich does not meet expenses if equalized in my opinion the root cause is in my view over spending, corruption, unaccountability. You can take all the rich have and there will still be huge failures in the way taxation is done vs how it can be done better.

A very good topic and as usual it can not be counted on that it be haunted by spooky Boop who has been largely raging. These are good things to discuss as Boop is right there is a problem and yet it has proven very stubborn to fix the whole thing better.

I used to enjoy political discussions here during the John Welden era. He was at least smart.

B is an emotional doofus....Like so much of the left.

I used to advocate finding compromise with these people, but now I would like to see a national divorce.

I want to see them prove us wrong by way of socialism, diversity, free everything, UBI, not addressing loser/violent culture, taking endless illegals in, defunding police, etc.

It is my dream to watch them step on that landmine.

I believe when it comes down to it rather than a massive change coming they are just playing a dangerous game of chicken. I seriously doubt they are committed Marxists and Potential Communists. Those models are a dead end proven. Russia and to mostly a large extent China understands this. Chinese Communism is still powerful there yet it gets them no where except poor and starving. Watching loved ones suffer such clearly condemns Communism.

If in reality the whole capitalist system is truely threatened then the government (ours) could crack down as it always had tended to do in terrible crisis and with clear determination and violently when necessary. Now all the lip service to systemic problems which divide us show their method. They must address it sure and they are making the effort.

The effort is flawed and ineffectual. It would take hard work and unprecedented bipartisanship for our time frame to pull that off. Getting so close to passing the infrastructure bill is a good step in the right direction. Screw parties keep the country.

What has happened is that it is empty and basically a dangerous game. After everyone understands they are basically playing and hoping problems will majorly disappear like magic they waste the hours ,days, months and years until it no longer works and it is decided to handle it in a Authoritarian manner possibly.

I hope it will not mean blood. To me it has been a inconceivable thought. Yet seeing the lack of control and the problems in policing and the justice system it could be a large concern sadly.

If it could happen without tanking the whole thing, I would agree.

As far as Big B goes, I think he has one tag line and can't get past it.

As long as you keep worshiping your lying cult leader you shouldn't expect to be on the winning side of much of anything. And what's "prodection" anyway?
