I question the need for this topic. It's almost like saying "it's not nice to be foul mouthed and insulting elsewhere, but let it all hangout here". It the same as saying that it wasn't nice for our presidents to use foul language, but for Trump it's ok.

A slow or maybe not so slow degradation of society.

Or the just great I don't agree with you all and will stand for the small.
Perhaps It's where my antagonistic attitude comes from and why I don't think members with time in should be banned.
On both sides too many get shot down down here.
We have lost some that spoke their side side with conviction but went and pushed and go back and forth.
This I see as a loss to everyone.
You can skip a post or two or ten if you don't want read what you know will make you unhappy.
Nobody makes you read any of this.
Banning is for spammers, not those that do do not match your view or say things that you do not like.

Everyone will have a view as to those who come here.
Spinit did what he saw as best for us. Good/bad call who is to say but he did what he did and how many of you wanted the job?
He stepped up, you did not. Go cry to somebody who cares.

(How your crimp the pasties make little difference, it's the art of the blend that is inside and is it as good cold as well as when hot)

    Pasties?
You must go to the higher class joints than I frequent.

i never liked pasties of any kind.....too much cabbage in them,I think........I much prefer a good sausage roll made with a german sausage......or a good meat pie with plenty of peas and black sauce. But I never liked HP sauce,it lacks something,or maybe too much soy........and for those who arent aware.......when young girls are sent to expensive private school, they quickly learn to talk just like ho s.And if a parent isnt alert,he will begin using f words without realizing it.

Bob, one question is how to get inappropriately banned members reinstated. When a moderator has "gone rogue", who do you talk to? Don? Hate to bother him with stuff like this...

It’s not about “differing opinions”, it is those few who cannot offer those opinions without being a twat.

    There are standards here,
    Hell, there are standard everywhere.
Get with the program, get out, or get thrown out.

There is far too much talk about who’s in or out on this forum.
The moderator should know where the line is and enforce it.

Good forums generally have a pretty clear line and should not need all that much reinforcing.

Personally i hate the notion that the subjects this very forum is about can be meaningfully discussed with out politics, like it or not but your local politicians can really fuck up your trade - income - business.

Its like when health care gets dragged up, making it public may not be a option for you, but equally it can not be a sane option to pay whats little more than a insurance industry cartel ever more for ever worse results. This forum needs to be about talking this kinda stuff through and applying some different approaches for the members long term benefits.

The whole idea of this place is to discuss problems and help each other find fixes, when threads get closed for questioning the validity of certain major manufacturer's incidents when thoes claims then get proven in later reports you really have to wonder why forum mods feel the need to protect companies like that.

The Cornish variety don't have any cabbage in them. Piroshki have lots of cabbage varieties, what with being Russian. I'm guessing someone down there has made a vegemite pasty, though I think I'll pass.

If you go up into Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, iron and copper country, they are very popular. Brought in with the miners from Britain.

We usually stop for pasties when we are traveling in the upper peninsula.

Point taken, so when 90% of the media and entertainment industry leans left why are liberals so outraged by Fox News and want it silenced? I have never met anyone more hypocritical than your typical liberal.

Politics, hen squabbling and arguments should be short lived on PM.

QT: [pasties of any kind.] Seems you can hardly find one with not having onions. Onions din't agree with me so most often I have to pass on then.
