Personally I think the empanada is far superior to the pastie (shhhhh !) . [Don't tell the Welsh ).
When I'm out in Spain the local baker sells empanadillas, they're delicious with various fillings. Cheese and onion is my favourite. I do like Cornish pasties though, they're great either hot or cold.

One of my neighbour's over here is the local " Samosa " King. He has a business making them for the local Indian restaurants. The ones he makes for home consumption are the best though, they're like small pasties and absolutely delicious.

Every festival he brings a box with a dozen in it for my wife and I.
If she's lucky she gets to eat a couple !

    Regards Tyrone.

I love samosas, pasties, etc. Really any time you take meat & other stuffing materials and wrap it in some kind of dough I'm happy. I think the big advantage of the pasty or piroshki is that the heavier crust makes it a better on-the-go food. The samosa wrapper is thinner, so I feel like it loses more structural integrity when you bit the corner off.

He said most kids just go for the one year certificate and all are finding well paying jobs.

You would consider extreme hate speech?

Extrodinary, you people on the right are a bunch of whiny snow-flakes starting with your leader.

I got buster/banned from PM for writing a simple 7 word Trump joke and was off for a week or two... So now I try to avoid using the T word.

Do you apply the same logic to everything that you didn't do? I understand where you're coming from, I have the same attitude to people who don't vote but want to bitch about who gets elected.

A forum moderator though? Really? If they're doing a crap job, nobody is supposed to complain about it because they didn't volunteer for the role?

The mod *could* treat this as a learning experience and either moderate or participate. It's damn difficult to do both, especially when you have strong opinions and a low tolerance for dissent.

You could read the tea leaves.... something was wrong when the moderator felt the need to push back against the "anti-business sentiment" in the Boeing jet discussion. I smelled "right wing".

You see what's happened to the USA liberalism since Trump made Stephen Miller his "senior policy advisor" Fixer

Gordon made a lot of sense and I valued his input on what things are like in Denmark as compared to our country as far as medical insurance and life in general. He put up with a lot of name calling for a long time with tame, common sense responses. I would have been hurling insults right back. But, it seemed that the more reasoned his response, the more incensed the RWNJ's became.

The same people who couldn't stand to read how good they have it with their Universal Healthcare in Denmark are the same ones who'll be on here cheering on the banning of more members.

I'm in favor of bringing back Gordon and the other three that have been mentioned. It also seems to me like if a moderator is going to ban someone they could warn them that they are possibly going to be banned. It would also be nice to let the member know that they are being banned and for how long. And as far as deleting their entire history, that just totally pisses me off that someone would take ten years of my posts and just delete them. Not good at all.

No sign of Thermite since he was banned. As I said earlier, this heavy handed moderation can kill a good forum.

alternate to the "keep a good forum and the google ratings will come"

Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's resturaunts was quoted as selecting nice but
uncomfortable seating in the dining rooms.
So people would sit and relax, but then move on.

So, "Any hit is a google paying hit"

Regardless if people get an answer, then get disgusted, and turn over is averaging 3 months....as long a new people keep showing up.

Who cares if it degrade to "how to" ?:
How To - Tips, Tricks and Hacks for Doing Everything Better | Lifehacker

Obviously the site creator doesn't care....as evidence by the lack of moderation, even to follow their own rules set up in the beginning.

Countless people have suggested an "off topic rumpus room" and this has been
proven to work well at other forums. Actually take a large portion of load off the moderators, by having a simple trash can to move "problem" threads into.

    The obvious ignorance is offensive.

I'm not on this site every day and don't read every post on the forum so there's a good chance that I missed that. I was also banned for a month and a half so I wasn't really keeping up with what was going on.
