October 4th is national MFG. day. I had never heard of it before. I think this is only the 2nd year of it. My employer is having an open house with lunch etc. I know they invited people from the tech. schools, and colleges.....I sent an email to one of the local high schools. It will be an opportunity for some of these kids to see CNC equipment run for the first time in their lives. (hell, I didn't even know the field of manufacturing existed until I was 17) I think they will be doing some design demos s well. Is the company you work for or own participating? If so, how?......just kinda curious.
