She did see it happen and from the story, she was in harm's way when it happened.
Sable tec was having her lightly whip the horse's back quarters with rope as is said to be common with a trailer shy horse. That seems a hazardous place to be IMHO.

She has seen deaths with having barn cats about and has hunting experience.
Still, that was her first horse, and girls become highly attached to horses.

Years ago I had a buddy who had a horse rear up and fall on him. That broke his hip and he almost got killed. The horse was said to be crazy so Marvin got him for a low price. The rearing up was said to be caused by a brain blood vessel blowing out. Yes, the horse was dead and they had to get Marvin out from under it.

Everyone uses masks everywhere public and at work, almost 100% of the time.

The masks don´t protect You, they keep You from infecting others, mostly.

Vaccinations will start next month, december 2020, first medical staff and elderly.
