FWIW, he really isn't bothering me. But I'm not joking or trying to crack back at him when I say he has psychological issues, I mean it.

He feels weak, and has taken on a very specific trope to run with much like a child wears some of his dad's clothes - it's "dressing up" to feel stronger, or putting on a badge that says "I'm part of the club".

He wants to belong to something that gives him power. He's just dumb enough to have joined a group that's failed every time.

I hope he either grows up or goes away, but most likely neither will occur. In the meantime I simply copy everything he's said. If it gets boring enough I'll ask the list owner if this is something he wants to be part of the PM ecosphere.

I read a reference to the Teflon wiring insulation ages ago. It might have been superseded as the cause of the flames, but the primary issue was likely a combination of the pure oxygen atmosphere in the capsule and the initiation being a short circuit heating up wiring to the point where the insulation caught on fire, which spread to the rest of the capsule.

The real head-scratcher was the use of oxygen rather than a nitrogen/oxygen mix. I suspect the people who made the first choice had nightmares afterwards.
