Tea and coffee should be black, hard, hot and strong.

    Hello CarbideBob,
The service economy is decimated. On a brighter note, manufacturing will grow at a very brisk pace.

Manufacturing will soon carry the entire economy on their back.

I do not care what you say,
This quarter sucks donkey dick, only up 8.2% after fees and taxes. Not gonna hit last year at this rate by any means.
I guess I should be happy as some are in the red ink side as this quarter ends.

Business is accelerating despite current conditions, we have never seen this much demand..ever. This quarter (for my company) will be better than last year, and last year's quarter was the best.

Eventually, you will see the same.

(Referring to otrlt) He does quite nice aerospace fixturing products.

otrlt, you should talk more about what you do! It seems like a very nice, high-quality niche-work shop you have. I for one would like to hear more about the details of your work, to the extent you can talk about it.

    Regards.

Hardly Mike, ..I'm nothing special just an unemployable (I was semi disabled long before my heart attack) 1 man band manual job shop housed in a 20' x 8 ' building at home (aka in the UK as a Fred in a shed)
For the last 10 years + my work has been 90% subcontract machining of plastic parts, ……low volume etc etc including many of which that hadn't successfully been CNC'd - like;-

M4 x 20mm long cheese head screw in PTFE, OR

a PTFE diaphragm say 4'' dia x 0.060'' (+/- 0.002'') thick with a very fine finish (each being individually wrapped in paper and packed in it's own bag, OR

    a PEEK tube 115mm L x 9.45 od x 8.20 ID with OD grooves & profiles, plus axial slots & holes.

ETC ETC or AKA the jobs nobody else will touch
