Well, the democrats and the entitlement crowd have been doing this for decades. In fact it's the party platform. Where's your criticism for them?

One of the things I study is how a sector cohort will trade together but have a variation in the expression of common market forces.

At times a remarkable similar progression is visible which shows the utility of taking sector trades.
I am closely following the price structure in crude, the broader indexes and the sector stocks for entries long.
I have position size in some from this sector as well as small start positions which I will build if breakout occurs to top side.

These are two oil patch plays- NOG and FTK
Stocks can fail and this sector has been and continues to be under high stress- I am not recommending stock purchases just passing along how I watch prior price to inform trade entries.
The charts below are short enough time series to inform actual entries.
Before even considering a trade the longer ten year series chart must be looked at closely to see if a short term price capture has meaning.
These stocks are trading just under a dollar- they can fall to under a penny so entry must be guarded to avoid total loss.
I use the consolidation to define that trade defense- stocks are not held long on failure of bottom line..

    NOG first:

    And FTK:

We’re in a worldwide recession now. And in my opinion....it’s worse than it should be due to the high level of incompetence and division in Washington. Both Parties share the blame.
But....that said, the incredible incompetence of Donald Trump and his utterly disgusting amount of dishonesty has fueled chaos and disfunction in government. Draining the Swamp....sounds good but it’s surely not a good thing when a Pandemic strikes and we all want government to work.
Personally, I’ll admit that I did vote for Trump. I was not a fan of Hillary nor was I a fan of the Democrats focus on the 1 pertcenter’s .
Hell, they spent a few months focusing on bathroom rights for transgender people. Pure stupidity because no one really cares.

Sanders nailed in in 2016 when he sad the Democratic Party has ignored the white working man. There’s nothing racist about that statement. None intended on my part. But it’s the damned truth.

So...not really knowing a lot about Trump....I told myself he deserved a chance. I vocally supported him early on. But no more. The man is a damned Manchurian President on one hand with his support of Putin and Kim Jung. And on the other hand...Trump is absolutely right with his China Trade policy. Hopefully....once Trump is in America’s rear view mirror, Washington will keep the pressure on China. Both Parties sold America out with the trade deals. Hell....I remember Democratic majority whip Dick Gephart in tears....on tv in tears saying the North American Trade Deal and the International Deal would destroy America manufacturing. He was right.
So, Trump is an enigma. But he’s also a pathological liar....a sociopath, and a damned disaster. He’s a con artist too.

By the way...can’t find the video of Gephart in tears...but here’s another short clip. He’s a good man and was a good leader. YouTube

Those are called dog whistle issues. This is how repblicans get people to vote against their interests:

Be scared of gays. They're different and will try to convert your kids to being gay. (vote for me)
Be scared of transgender people. They're different and there will be big hairy men in the girl's room at your kid's school. (vote for me)
Be scared of poor people. They're different than you and are all on welfare and food stamps and will take your money. (vote for me)
Be scared people with brown skin. They're different than you and will mongrelized our white country. (vote for me)
Be scared of pacifists. They're different than you and won't fight in our wars and will burn flags. (vote for me)
Be scared of socialists. They're different than you and will take your healthcare away from you. (vote for me)
Be scared of feminists. They're different than you and want to make everyone have abortions. (vote for me)

This is how you get elected these days. Tell everyone who's to blame for the problems and make them scared
of other people. They're not interested in solving real problems. They just want to get into office so they can get
complete ultimate control of the government.

Looks like you were scared of transgendered people. So you voted for trump. Dog whistle: success.

No Jim....not at all. I just thought it was a stupid thing to politically focus on. I was thinking it would probably be better to focus on the masses who work and pay taxes.
Maybe also focus on infrastructure. The reason I voted for Trump was I really felt Hillary was too far to the left. Too focused on bathrooms. Crazy shit making small businesses add another 3rd bathroom. It’s also expensive. Hell...I was in business when ADA bathrooms were the new requirement. It’s a hard think to do in old cities with old buildings.
But...mainly....I thought Hillary would swing the Supreme Court way too far to the Left. In hindsight....never in my wildest dreams did I think Trump would be this damned bad. The guys a damned mobster..
He’s also the dumbest guy in the room.

Oh...and Trump was talking about China Trade. The baffling thing is when he starts talking about China Trade....he’s no longer the dumbest guy in the room. Trump is an enigma.

    .
I think any knowledgeable person is very afraid of socialists. Not even the Nazis imprisoned, murdered and tortured more of their own citizens.

Wow really? This is interesting to know.

The word fear that you repeatedly use reminds me of this song which seems to fit in. It will work out. People are dealing with very real life issues.

The word fear reminds me of a good Bowie song .

This kind of thing is interesting yet there are many much more critical things.

While I support LGBTQ+(etc) rights, my big fear was having a Dem Progressive candidate for president.

Among other Progressive issues (most of which I agree with) LGTBQ+ issues would have been at the forefront of the the progressive agenda. Imagine if Elizabeth Warren had been the candidate, and was in front of farmers in Iowa, and said " I'll will have a transgender student pick the next education secretary" (which she said she would do). You can imagine the jaws dropping and then general look of disbelief. Trump would have won the next election despite his sleaze, corruption, shooting somebody on 5th aveneue, his handling of the CV19 crisis etc etc.

I just hope the progressives turn upto vote, even though for many Biden wasn't their candidate. If they don't we're all fucked, straight, LGBTQ+, BAME etc etc.

The recession doesn't seem to be effecting the local Harley independent performance shop.

While I've been quoting, re-quoting, re-re-quoting, re-re-re-quoting a job that would get me thru this crisis, it's been the $30,$40,$300 etc etc jobs from the Harley shop that's paying the rent at the moment.

Apparently they have 2-3 month backlog of work, and it's getting longer.

I never thought in a million years the majority of my work would be for Harleys.

Scared, fear, phobic. It's the lefts big word.

Don't like the thought of letting children decide to mutilate their bodies and pump themselves full of chemicals because they were brainwashed into thinking they were something different? TANSPHOBE!

Don't give a damn about the LBGTQP++++ alphabet soup of BS? PHOOOOOBE!

As far as feminists, the first wave brought about women's right to vote. Modern feminists brought about hashtags and running around topless while screaming.

The lefts whole platform is FEAR. Just look at the posts here and the nonstop media coverage. It's just a more expensive version of a bum on the side of the road with a "Repent the end is near!" sign.

Why is Amazon at a all time high?
Bear market my ass, no lost money it that one.
A thousand dollars in 2015 is now 5 thousand dollars, I think that beats inflation by a tad even during the downer times of today.
