Abbreviations used below.
UK Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA)
UK Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).
UK Committee on Climate Change (CCC),
The Global Warming Policy Foundation, a UK charity (GWPF).
Comments in square brackets are mine.

From CommiePedia
"The Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) is a lobby group in the United Kingdom whose stated aims are
to challenge "extremely damaging and harmful policies" envisaged by governments to mitigate anthropogenic
global warming.[2] The GWPF as well as some of its prominent members have been characterized as promoting climate
change denial.[3][4]"

Not in the Wikipedia article.
a) The CCC has refused to release data under a FOIA enquiry since June 2019.
b) The GWPF have led the efforts to have the data made available to the public.
c) The CCC were instructed to release the data on 2021-08-07.

Here is a link to the tribunal decision document.

Some extracts from the pdf.
]

"15. This appeal concerns the following request made by Mr. Montford to the CCC on 23 August 2019:
Please could you send:
(a) the 12 spreadsheets you describe for the road transport sector.
(b) The equivalent spreadsheets for the power sector and the housing sector.
To be clear, I do not require any information to be extracted. I’d like the spreadsheets “as is”.
This should therefore only take a few minutes of your time."

"16. The CCC replied by on [Sic] 23 September 2019. It refused the request on the basis of regulation 12(4)(d)
(material in the course of completion) and 12(4)(b) (cost of compliance)."

"30. Disclosure would shift debate from the substantive environmental issue to perceived deficiencies in the information ..."

"49. The Commissioner notes that the CCC should have preserved a version of the spreadsheets used for the Net Zero Report
on the date of the request, and should not have continually overwritten the spreadsheets since then."

[The NZR was the document upon which the UK Government relied, before allocating £ trillions, and the authors do not have a copy!]

"56. At its highest the CCC’s argument may be that there is other data in the spreadsheet which is incomplete, but this does not
affect the status of the information which Mr. Montford wants and which was used to calculate the 1-2% GDP figure."

"58. The New Zealand Government has put the cost at 16% of GDP annually. There is an overwhelming public interest, on account of
the enormous sums of money involved, in understanding the calculations which gave rise to the headline figure and why the CCC
believes the project will be so much cheaper in the UK."

"63. The CCC questions the value of ‘historical’ spreadsheets. Where they have been used to justify a recommendation of substantial
changes, there is a clear public interest in the basis for that recommendation being interrogated."

"66 ... It is incredible that the CCC does not hold a version of the spreadsheet as it was at the time of publication
of the Net Zero Report."

"69.8. A public authority should not benefit from the unreasonable act of not retaining a copy of the calculations used;"

"71 ... '' particularly because the arguments raised by the CCC are technical attempts to defeat the obligation to release the information
and the only reason it is able to make those arguments is because it has chosen to hold the requested information in a live spreadsheet."

[
Remainder of the document concerns further CCC delaying tactics and the tribunal rejection thereof.

There is plenty more whining by the CCC about their limited resources and their inability to carry out FOIA requests.
If these resources are so small, how was the CCC able to fund the estimated £600,000 legal costs it has incurred delaying the
release of the information?

Are there similar attempts to conceal the facts/manipulate the "facts" about Climate Change/Global Warming where you live?

How does this garbage have a home on this forum?
Because it fun to see many views and how many are dedicated to what is in their hearts.
If which side opposite my thinking I want to see why others think and that makes me think more.
Perhaps not the the big world forum for it but maybe this area allows.
One thing about machinist of all skill levels. A 100% wide set of viewpoints on everything
This we should enjoy.

There you go:-

IPCC 2021 report.

You don't have to worry about an FOI request for a few spreadsheets from a group of cranks, you can see all three thousand nine hundred and forty nine pages of the report from the research that the world's governments are sponsoning and are basing their actions on.

Yeah, well Im getting my order in early.....I want colder in summer ,warmer in winter .....about 30degC all year would be nice.......and yes there are places like this .....30C average ,2C variation day to night, summer to winter ....Thursday Island ,Queensland.

Summer and warm is fine, I want colder in winter and more snow. Lots more snow like the old days.
Requardless of view or why something has sure as heck changed if you have been ridding sleds since the 60s on the snow line.
There is change in my backyard. One can talk all over the place as to why but for some reason a noticeable change has happened here.

Ha ! That'll be the least of humanity's problems. It'll be like that bad Star Trek episode where the dipshits on some planet started messing with the weather, blew everything up, and had to live underground forever after.

Except there's no way 7 billion people on Earth could ever live underground.

Gonna be a slaughter, as Grig would say.

As developing countries shift towards industrial and post industrial the reproductive rate typically declines to replacement or even less.
Given some time the whole world will have a slower population growth rate and it should stabilize and perhaps decline.

Where that roll over point is....
We need a graph eh LOL

The best thing you can do for the environment is don't have kids. Problem is, nobody wants to hear that.

As for understanding and judging the details of climate change, I'm not sure machinists are going to be the best at that. Also not sure climate scientists can machine the best parts. That's why we specialize; few people can be good at everything.

disagree strenuously. Ideas come from people, more people makes more ideas, more ideas means more solutions to actual problems. Specialization is key, in my town there are only about 10 endocrinologists. Bigger cities may have as many as 100. Town smaller than mine, zero. You want a problem solved and there's no specialist for that yet? Don't stop having children. Thomas Malthus was wrong wrong wrong, more people is more productivity. Some day we'll figure out how to off-world extra heat or possibly store it or convert it into some kind of batteries... future solutions come from future people.

Climate change? Don't you remember when you were a child and half of the western USA was burning with wildfires? Me neither.

What we have here is some people that are too selfish to listen to scientists because they have freedumb to do whatever the hell they want to do no matter the consequence to the rest of the world. Kind of like the virus. Hopefully mother nature will cull them from the herd first.

"More people make more ideas" Quantity over quality? --- Good luck with that.

Are you being told the truth about Global Warming?

I think its says something about society that a position cant be questioned, if responded to at all is with derision.
