I want to be able to use my favourite 125mm four jaw chuck on my new lathe. The four jaw chuck has four holes for screwing on a mounting plate. I do not want to buy a commerical plate because they are too thin. The backing plate needs to be about 125mm diameter, 25mm thick, D1-4 mount and really well made.
