My trouble shooting to determine the cause for Alarm 05: Tool Turrent Hardware Failure has led me to believe that the Motor Driver Board A7B41800 is faulty. However, I am not really confident in my diagnosis.
In any case, can you test/repair/sell this board?
    Thanks,

Check Post #11 for an email address for Alan. He does not check in here very often. (I miss his contributions to the Deckel forum.)

    Hi rob,

I have two of these lathes and had them both error out on turret, both times the little encoder board in the back of the turret was to blame. We fixed ours in house, tracked the faults to some corroded tracks on the boards.

    Dear Alan,

I don't know if the PM worked, but I have some R3D417000 that aren't working, could you help me repairing it?

    Thanks.

It looks like he hasn't posted anywhere in the forums in a 1 1/2 years, with over 3,000 posts that isn't a good sign.

Who knows how long 'till next time tho?

He does have an e-mail link set up tho.
Just click his name and you should git a drop down with e-mail link in it.

Can a regular member tell how long ago someone logged on or is that just for moderators?

Go to "view profile" and on the left hand column it will tell you their last activity (last time they logged in to the site)
