I am looking for someone that can grind 303 stainless flat. I am looking for pieces that are roughly 3 x 12 .187 thick and .25 thick. 50 of each, i can supply material if needed

blanchard would be best but free state flatness is the ultimate goal

These are blanks that will be finished by my shop

If you have this capability please message me through this board. I am located in the pacific NW

    Thanks

Uh boy...never occured to me folks might want to place parts or services *wanted* ads in a section like this.

On the one hand seems like a good idea but on the other hand, it kinda mucks up the 'lean and mean' aspect of the list and would make it more tedious for prospective customers to scan. Almost need yet another 'forum' just for parts *wanted*.

    Thoughts folks ?

I would agree with you Don. A separate section with folks "looking" for things.

I'd like a forum for wanted ads too.

It hadn't really occurred to me before that the shop listings could get so long that it might be difficult to read thru them all, especially to find a specific type of capability, or a specific locale. But as this type of thing gains momentum I think that the shop listings will quickly fill.

I think that would be a good idea...some ideas for a "sticky post" there would be that the listings would only be good for 30 days (?????) or the original poster should close it out when the parts have been sourced. Although the follow-up isn't as self-maintaining as holding an X-day limit on the posts. If it was a recurring need or an odd enough one that nobody was answering the original poster could supply the effort to re-post or else ask for special dispensation.

I would think that "forum" would have minimal replies and mostly emails and PMs floating back and forth, so hopefully it could be "lean" too.

Ahhh Don, how the mighty beast thunders on

So, twelve listings.... is it just me...or does it look already that searching will become a problem....and with wanted ads, perhaps becomiming bigger, sub divisions, as the section grows, looks like a worthwhile thing (sory couldn't spell endeeaveerore....see what I mean)

Don, why arn't you asking a fee for this??????

Oh and BTW, on the general forum, i think someone asked "I wonder how long it will be before the  "ZONE" (many, many deleted expletives #@$%&*£) has a "Manufacturing Resource"...wel just check it out.... NO, NO DON'T... [email protected]#K 'EM the parasitic little W#@KER$

    Forum section heading

BUSINESS-2-BUSINESS COMERCE (MANUFACTURING RESOURCE, as it is now)
