I have some large OD thin parts that need turning and holes put in them. Perfect VTL work. Part OD's range from 59 to 83". Material is A36 plate. Does anyone have any recommendations for shops? I would prefer Maine, New Hampshire, or Mass to keep the shipping costs down.

Unfortunately the only shops I know of in Maine that have large vertical lathes probably wouldn't be cost effective, as they're fairly large shops. Mid-State Machine in Winslow, and General Electric in Bangor. Of the two, Mid-State would likely be the only one to even quote the work, and it would probably give you a heart attack.
