New product looking for shop to produce

Saw this article and apparently the inventor is looking for a cost effective way to bring to market. Figured someone with a screw machine or swiss can get him up and running. Maybe even make the design better. Might as well try to make the part in the good 'ol usa with our housing market!

How is the "inventor" paying the vendors ?
Cash within 30 days ? or stock options ?

I do not see how this can work that well.

It still pulls the drywall against the stud.

Physical noncushioned contact so still going to conduct noise.

Stagger studs better
