Tolerance on length and ID, are not critical.

For length, +-.01
For the ID +-.005

What surface roughness is allowable especially on bore? .005-.010 45 degree corner breaks ok, instead
of the caveman file method?

Corner breaks are fine.

A smooth to the touch surface finish would be best. No polish, or anything fancy required.
