RFQ: 225 Pieces 17-4 H900 4.5" Long Linear Rods

I need 225 pieces of the following part in 17-4 H900.

Surface finish is 16 RA or better on the main diameter. 0002" concentricity.

You may want to add a surface finish (roughness) callout for the .328" diameter, and possibly even the .063" hole. An edge break at the hole might be good too.

When you spec a material like 17-4 H900 and have such close control of the diameter, it makes one think it's for a critical function, perhaps under mechanical stress or vibration. As such, an appropriate (smooth) controlled surface finish will allow better mechanical performance and fatigue life.

If none of that matters then leave it out, but you could get rough surfaces on the .328" diameter than meet spec but are functionally subpar.
