I've been making these in small quantity on a CNC lathe, but that's very much not the right tool for any volume. Eventually they'll be cold headed, but we're not to that stage yet. These are pretty small (.208 long and .075 diameter) so they should go on a very small Swiss. I need an initial lot of 10,000 pieces.

The material is 70/30 cupronickel.

The shoulder is very close to square (.003" max radius). I'm using an Iscar Pentacut parting insert to remove the radius left by my turning tool.

The back needs to have no part-off tit, as that's the contact surface.

The front rim's thickness and tolerance are real and will be checked with a measuring microscope.

Otherwise with the right machine these shouldn't be too bad.

These press into a plastic bore and then a wire is resistance welded across the smaller side, if it helps you visualize what the part is about.

Solid model on request.

Thanks
John

Dear,
are you still looking for these parts? Do you mind buying them from abroad?

Why do two posters have to ask the same question in back to back posts? If you do not understand what is posted above maybe you should not be trying to solicit business from people who speak English.
