Small customer spring............ source needed..................

I need to confirm the exact wire material with my customer, but the pic should get me a ballpark................and yes it's missing some lengths and the tolerance. I just need a source to start with. To all the print nazis' out there..........silence!

Prolly lookin at any wheres from 100 to 500 pcs.

You should be able to make that with a male-female form die, using a machinist vise for control and force. Would need to over-bend of course, so some geometry iteration needed to get to final shape.

Hell, if the cross-section can be square, how about laser cutting from .031 spring sheet, then tumble the crap out of it for stress relief and edge softening?

Or screw all that and contact Century Spring. Even if they can't do it, they might be able to recommend a Co. that does.

another local shop here in WI just down zee road from me do quite a bit of springs never used them...R&L Spring out of Lake Geneva.

Custom Wire Forming & Metal Fabrication Companies | Acme Wire Products These guys told me they would do this stuff up to about .375 diameter material. They do wire forming. I am sure someone local to you does this. Try google "wire forming"
