Default Source for Custom Torx-Align Bits (T5)

Pardon the cross-post, probably should have posted here instead of the "general" forum.

We have a couple of custom parts that require a t5 torx-align (screw-retaining) tip: torx on one end and cylindrical features/grooves on the other, approx 1" long. Does anyone have any info on manufacturers or screw-machine shops that routinely make such torx (or hexalobular) screw-retaining tips. The parts in question will need to be stainless steel, quantities of around 1000 pieces at a time.
I'm trying to avoid reinventing the wheel, as there must be a learning curve on making these sorts of bits.
Thanks in advance for any information. Charles

Or (and amusing considering the OP's city), contact Apex Tool: APEX Industrial Fastening Tools who are a major manufacturer of drive bits.
