0t---RAIL SABOTER DE GUERRE NAZI

Using the tracks as an anchor seems a little risky. Cutting the chain link improved the risk too a sure thing.:D
What I'm thinking is even without cutting the chain link is using the track to hold the crane down has risk.
No calculations made.

Track is heavy but I don't remember track being welded with the Thermite like in the previous video. Even n the 1960's.
I walked a lot of track collecting those blue glass electric insulators
If this was from a movie it doesn't have to be practical. As a kid my father chewed my ass for pointing out the fake things in movies. He would say, just shut up watch it. Now I annoy my wife with pointing things out.:rolleyes5:
Now I'm annoying you.

Maybe the weight of the track and the combined spikes holding in the ties is more weight than I'm estimating. I'm sure the crane has some substantial counterbalance.

It is a good film clip about how civilian resistors of hitlers army helped in the war effort.
hitler doesn't deserve a capital h in typing his name. A little non-man.
