Best way to strap a Harrison 10AA on a trailer

What is the best way to strap down a Harrison 10AA lathe on a trailer? I found a manual and it clearly showed how to lift the lathe, but with it's streamlined shape and solid front on the bed it isn't clear as to the best way to strap it down.

Take the (rear) chip tray off and run straps or very-well-padded chains from vehicle tiedowns on the vehicle right, up through the holes in the back of the bed, over the front way, and back down to vehicle tiedowns on the left. This will put the heavier headstock end toward the vehicle front. Angle the straps fore and aft a bit to give some fore-aft restraint and block the base against sliding. This particular lathe has the leadscrew and feed rod tucked well in under the front way, and it would take some effort to damage them compared to some lathes.

My M300 had a hole at the tailstock end of the bed that I hooked two load strap into. one to each side down to the floor. I think I see a similar hole in the photo.
