On a standard box cargo trailer with a spring loaded rear ramp what is involved with getting the ramp out of the way so an engine hoist can reach into trailer and pick up a heavy machine? That seems easier then trying to roll it up a weak ramp into the trailer or out at the other end. The ramp would probably have to be blocked and reinforced so it does not buckle or tip the trailer on end.
Of course a trailer with swing doors would be the answer but they are few and far between here. Most I see for sale have ramps not doors.
