Clark clipper identification help

Hi every on just purchased a Clark clipper. The serial number tag is missing and all I can find
Is this # cec1257lm . I need to order parts for it and The parts guys say this isn’t a good serial number .
Any help would be great thanks

While I would like to help you, my Clark ser.# directory shows that is most likely a Canadian lot # (1257), my book stops at lot #1225 and that is Mar. 1976. which sounds to me to be too new of a date for that series? Clippers were built in the 50's.sorry I can't be of more help. As far as getting parts, Clippers were pretty much "cookie cutter" as to many items alike, however many will be long since obsolete, depending on just what it is.? The "L" in the ser.# indicates it is a 1950 using the old Clark coding method. Bigais
