I would like to use the WD-40 Rust Remover Soak to derust some of my spring steel tools. I would like to make sure that soaking the tools in the liquid does not cause hydrogen embrittlement on the tools. I managed to find information about that tests were conducted on the standard WD-40 inconnection with this issue, and according to the tests it should not cause hydrogen embrittlement. This information is contained in one of their earlier technical data sheets, like this:

But I did not find a similar info inconnection with the WD-40 Rust Remover Soak. This information is missing from its data sheet. When I called the support of WD-40, they were also unable to help regarding this.
Anyone have a clue whether WD-40 Rust Removal Soak is safe in this regard?
