Nice rating, seems to me.
Use as adjustable sling?

Not so easy to find, ebay has the stuff, Alibaba has it.

Uline? Not So Much

McMaster Carr? Not Really

Sling? No. That's probably a breaking strength. It's in no way rated for vertical lifting. It needs to be minimum grade 80 hardware and marked for working load limit for lifting.

Those are made for lashing loads to shipping skids or inside shipping containers.

Good way to get somebody killed, using that as lifting straps.

If you want something adjustable, use lifting chains.

That stuff is for tying down items like pipe in a railcar. It is absolutely not for lifting. The "MBS" is minimum breaking strength. For overhead lifting each component MUST have the manufacturer and the SWL (Safe Working Load) legible. The SWL is about 1/5 of MBS. There are other requirements but this stuff is basically disposable dunnage, interchangeable with steel banding.

Google "Allstrap", they sell miles of that strap and the metal bits as well. If I am not mistaken that looks like the stuff used to strap rebar to rail cars for shipping. They will be happy to sell you the tools to properly tension it as well.
