Does anyone have any experience with vertical lift material storage units?
We are planning a building expansion, may years ago I saw a system at a Molex facility that stored molds and dies, it impressed me and now the opportunity to incorporate one in the company for raw material storage is here.
The unit I'm looking at can hold 5,000# on each of the 11 racks and it's 60 inches deep not quite deep enough for our largest parts.
The vertical lift system lowers the rack to a ground position for loading or retrieving the stock, which get's us away from the high flying antics of retrieving material off the upper shelves.
