I'm looking at a CAT model E8000 electric 8,000# lift from a company called Material Handling Wholesale Corp in Elgin, IL. It is a refurbished lift without a 48v charger which I assume they will sell me.

Does anyone have any experience dealing with them? Also would like pros/cons on the lift. I dont have much experience with electric lifts except for the occasional rental and crown lifts are generally all anyone uses. Can you purchase a 110v to 48v charger so I can take this lift anywhere for weekend work?

Thank you

That company advertises all over the midwest and ebay? They have a lot of inventory? No electric experience personally have been told electric forklifts are great with good battery, just about scrap with a bad one.

There may be some small 48 volt charger for 120 but, all the forklift chargers I have seen are 240/480 mostly 3 phase. A good battery should last at least an 8 hour shift with some margins
