Could I get info on lifting and moving a Miyano BNC-20 lathe?
I just bought it. Don't know if I can just use a forklift.

Maybe someone could send pics from the Rigging or Installation section of the machine manual?

Thanks Richard!
I've done about 12 machinery moves. Mostly Bridgeports, some manual lathes, and 1 VMC.

CNCs can be tricky, because sheetmetal covers the castings. You don't always know where you can lift or tie down.

I've done all my own loading. But if it looks like I need help, I will take your advice, and call R&R!

I found that it weights 3400 pounds. I sounds as if you need some professional help. I use R&R rigging 651-457-0227 who in my opinion are the best riggers in MN

*UPDATE*
I picked up the machine. Used a forklift. The bottom is pretty flat cast iron, and it sits up a little, on leveling screws

I recommend extended forks if you're going to pick it up the long way.
