Want to move a Hyster 4T capacity electric pallet jack a few blocks, too far to drive it. Checked the vehicle’s manual on how to move a “disabled” vehicle. I read the paragraph many times and am still not clear on what Hyster recommends. I thought it was suggesting to pick up the vehicle from the rear but the forks of our 10k capacity Cat only go about two feet under the rear before hitting something, even when tilted down. Lifting the forks at that point leaves Hyster vehicle’s forks on the ground, so impossible to carry the Hyster that way. Could the manual be trying to tell me to pick it up from the side? Don’t think so. I may just have to drive the Hyster PJ onto a ramp and lift that. I’d love to do it per the manual but it just doesn’t work.
