VMC on skates, but way too heavy to push by hand.... I usually use electric pallet jack as "tug"...but in this case the forks were too short to get under the machine base. So used a manual pallet jack what would get under and then the electric to get under the pallet jack... it actually worked quite well...

Anyhoo..that's todays jackleg engineering tip..:fight:

Next time, bolt a trailer coupling head to your manual pallet jack, hook it up to your truck, and offer free delivery to your customer ! ;)

I am surprised it did not just spin it's wheels since the load seems to be forward of the drive axle. It shows I have never used a power pallet jack and do not understand the adhesion of the tires.

I recall a previous post where looking for a higher capacity pallet jack.

This popped up the other day, and I these odd longer forks as well:

Wow that brings back some memories. I used to use one of those to load 30-40 trailers a night with paper for that big red office supply company. If you turned them sideways you could move 3 pallets of paper at a time at just over 2000lbs per pallet (for 20lb weight 8 1/2 x 11 sheets).
