Shipping suggestions for machinery

I'm looking for suggestions as to contacts for shipping a machine from Asheville NC to central WI. I'd like to have it hauled point to point on a flat bed, ( not alone but with other machines, just no terminals ). Lathe will be crated and to and from locations are commercial with forklifts. My shipping contacts are retired or gone and moving anything is tough right now so any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Dave

Youtuber Abom79 and others in Florida and Georgia use a hotshot guy who seems to run midwest and east coast to Florida regularly. I believe Richard King, on this site, knows the folks involved and probably has contact info. Not sure about prices for a hotshot, but you can avoid terminal faceplants for your lathe this way.

I recommend these guys as they have always been professional to me. I used to own a used machinery company and used these guys religiously. They are based in MN and travel everywhere. They may not be the cheapest, but they never long or damaged any machine. They also use Conestoga type trailers so the machine is always covered.
