    Default Change language T3

    I now have a QT10N ATC m/c with T3 in german language, and I know what eprom chip to swap out but can I copy these from any T3 system or is these version dependant or something like that?

    I believe that all versions until T-plus, have a separate card in the control with a preselected language.That means you have to exchange your German card with a new English one directly from a Mazak dealer.Moreover he will ask you first, as a new owner, to register your machine in their database.Mazak Europe wants to know everything about their machines.They can also give you a brief bio(services,spindle repairs etc) of your new-old Mazak.

    Its 2 eproms
    This picture is from my T2 with Swedish language, and it would be interesting to know if I can copy these eproms and put in a T3 system.
    Both the T2 and T3 has the same board FX784-9 where the language chips are installed on.

    I can now confirm that language chips from a T2 will work in a T3

    When that reader shows up you'll be able to make a copy of your swedish chips to use in tthe new lathe.
