I have a VTC-200B with a Fusion 640M Control. It has a 4th axis.

I've tried to remove the 4th axis before to get it out the way, but if I unhook it the control still thinks it's there and it needs to be homed out during startup. Since it's not there, you can't home it out.

Do I need to change a parameter or something so the control isn't looking for it anymore? Or ??? There must be a way to convert the thing back to just a 3 axis machine.

Thanks in advance.

Call Mazak ask them for service bulletin. They should send you complete procedure how to do it.

Just unplug it and make a new copy of the work coordinate if you are runing previous programs that had fourth connected, it will remove the fourth from the coordinates and thats it.
At least that's how it works on both VTC300 that I have tested.
