We have a FMS system with 4 hcn 6800's , We run an artifact on these machine weekly to determine the state of the alignment. Right now the operators manually do this, which shuts off production. We are looking into automating this artifact routine by creating a "schedule", (our scheduling software is SAIL), we can easily create the schedule, but our dilemma is that we would like to be able to leave the artifact in the "in" position instead of on the table while we run our warmup program which will also allow the coolant to stop dripping from niagara. Is there a variable in the cell controller that would allow us to do this? or has anyone done something like this??
