I've having trouble understanding why the integrex II 100sy/200sy are relatively so cheap compared to other 5/6 axis lathes. or even the integrex III
I read somewhere that the controller for the Integrex II only allow 3 axes at a time, but does this mean you can still do any 3 axes you require? or is the c-axis only incremental and wont do complex continuous motion?
do these machines hold pretty tight tolerances, or are they always going to be a bit looser than a more conventional 2 axis lathe?
one final question: what does the s and y signify?
