We recently bought a Mazak Multiplex W200Y but I am having trouble where if I put a wear offset in the Y-Axis for a turning tool, after it has completed the general out process the main spindle stops and the machine sits doing nothing with the cycle start light lit and does not alarm out. If there is no wear offset the machine runs fine. I think the machine needs the Y-axis to be home before the tool change but it is not returning to the home position.

I have spent several hours looking through the machine manuals with no success.

Are you doing it in Mazatrol? After that tool is done, insert a manual unit with the same tool with "G53 Y0" in it. That will force the Y back home before it indexes to the next tool.
