Today we had Mitsubishi in to troubleshoot the positioning sensor on the Head 1 Spindle that we suspect is causing part transfer problems. Their diagnosis is its either the MBE FA Coder Sensor (Part Number BKO-NG6572H21 or the Pre-Amp Board (Part Number BKO-NG6572H62).
These parts are extremely expensive at 4K for the sensor and 5K for the board. Needless to say we were not prepared for this setback.
So I ask does anyone know of someone scrapping a machine from vintage 1990's or does anyone know where to get these sensors or pre-amp boards any cheaper?
