new tool eye install HOW TO? integrex 400-4s

good morning everyone.

i just had my tool eye sensor swapped out for a new one.

but i have a problem, i can physically install it but how do i set it/or calibrate it ?

machine is a MAZAK integrex 400-4s

can some here help me or is there a forum for the mechanical side of things here in the CNC world ?

On a Fanuc control you have a parameter to define each trip point. Use an known size bar and trip each of the sensors, and adjust the parameters until the dimension is correct.

OH

You need to indicate base of the sensor make sure is perp and square to your x-z axis. Look in your parameter list it is all in there most likely B...something parameters.

update, i need to send my tool eye back. they sent the wrong one.
will update once i receive and install.
