Looking at trying to find (nice good) used Mazak VCN 410B to possibly a 510 and have several questions. I am looking at year ranges from 2006 and up.
Are their any positives or negatives in the controls from the 640m and up through the years?
Do most of you use the Mazatrol for basic non 3d programing or EIA?
I know this is a what if question (material cut, crashed, rpms ran, proper warm up) but what would you consider getting close to a spindle rebuild on hours?
Im sure I will have more questions to add to this but I would greatly appreciate opinions on these. I am a small one man shop and manufacture my own product with my Mazak Nexus 100 lathe and just wanting to expand my capabilities.
