Spindle Head Pump

I installed a new pump for the spindle head for my 515/40 mill and I keep getting an error 217 thermal overload and i removed the wiring and checked it out. I get a voltage of 200 volts on 2 lines and when i check out the 3rd one i get a 100 volts. I found the wires in the panel and i'm wondering if I change the complete contactor will this solve my problem.

I would check the voltages going into the contactor to make sure they are ok. Also check the resistance through the various poles of the contactor (with power disconnected obviously!) to verify that they are all the same. If the resistance through one pole is different than the others and it lines up with your low voltage then that definitely points to that being a problem.

I have seen this issue with a contactor that was part of the wye/delta switching mechanism in a VMC. The contactor was old and dirty and the resistance through one pole was higher than the others which was causing problems with the spindle drive.
