SQT18M T32 Counter Balance Pressure

Does anyone know what the counter balance pressure should be set at? I'm getting some strange intermittent axis loads and I suspect it could be a hydraulic issue, when I clamp / unclamp the chuck the axis load changes!

You might want to check that the counter balance valve is operating properly. Please don't take my suggestions as gospel as I am totally unfamiliar with your machine, but have a similar counter balance on my VMC. Mine uses pressurized N2, but the concept is the same. I did quick search and came up with some info on how the valve works and the setting protocol.
