T-Plus Helical Interpolation

Does anyone know if it's possible to do a helical interpolation in G-code on a T-plus controller? Lathe is a SQT MSY.

I tried some test code but I get an "919 Illegal g16-19 command" error. Not sure if it's my code or if the controller just can't handle it.

It is an option on that controller.. go to the options page on the controller and see if it has tornado milling enabled

If not and you have cam software you can output the almost the same thing using linearise arcs which will output g01

Thanks for the info I'll give it a try. Do you have any sample code I could try using the Lineraised Arc's like you mentioned. I assume getting that option turned on the controller is going to be $$$ from Mazak. If it's even still possible.

Not sure if you saw my other post, do you have an answer for this since you have some experience with a similar machine.

I checked on the controller seems like "circular interpolation" is not enabled. Is there a way to turn it on?
