I recently visited the shop I retired from and the programmer that replaced me said that the new mill, when using a G84.2 tap cycle had to have a M3S500 ahead of the G84.2 to turn the spindle on or it wouldn't orient the spindle before tapping. The 510C and 530C do not need that. This is a newer mill with the touch screen. ?????????????? Any ideas.
