He's a Manager. AKA "change agent."

The common yardstick, ANY field of human endeavour?

A "manager" is the entity who gets the job DONE with the resources as can be had or MADE to be had.

Not those he only WISHES he had.

Many of us as call themselves by some other "trade" name. You can still tell who they are.

They prevail. Always at their best. Regardless.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of POINT in taking any other road, now does there?

I had a slant-1, and it was rock solid.
Is it Yasnak or Fanuc controlled?

Yasnak control looks similar to fanuc though- got a ballancer coming in a week or so . I have to say My buisiness partner Wayde ( happens to be my son too) Has stepped up to a new level . Programing and setting up the mill and lathe , I have a bit of learing to catch up.

Good to see that it didn't take you too long to get back up and running.
You and your customers must be pretty happy to see such progress.

That must be your partner(son) putting the Hass to work.
    Congratulations,
    Dave

My dad told me PG&E is declaring bankruptcy to protect them from the liability with burning down Paradise. Turns out their power lines were arcing for some days prior to the fire and that's what started it.

PG&E has a bad track record with truth and justice. When the Enron scam happened they siphoned a bunch of money from the subsidiary into the parent company to reduce assets...so they could declare bankruptcy.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience, with a bit of luck maybe you will find a better deal down the road.

Latest I have heard about the start of the fire was that it was not PG&E, but a customer. Any true to that?

A little out of relm in the atmosphere, I have to switch up a few things. I will make that problem go away. Where the fire started does not matter , I have heard all kinds of things. Where it puts you is important.

You can tell all the stuff they have is plum worn out, because it ALL has fresh paint on it.
When I am looking at used machine tools, if it has any paint on it other than what it came with from the factory, I skip right over it.

Wasn't there an ebay seller that did the old 'porch paint' refurbs on most of their inventory? They were a big ebay darling in the advertising for a while, it was called Reliable Tool or something, right?

Reliable tool, only thing you could rely on is getting ripped off. A holes robbed me.
