If I had to extrapolate, I'd guess he was saying he bought a Chinese made Mazak Lathe from Machine Station that was from a 2 year only run, imported by Methods Machine Tools.

I would guess the machine was not robust, having only been imported for 2 years (long enough to learn they are were not good examples).

Further, I'd speculate that the machine was not represented accurately, having been either a Porch Paint Rebuild, or significant defects obscured for the purpose of marketing it.

...And when he called them out, they told him to pound sand...

What he had must be catching, I've had 2 crappy outcomes with 2 battery suppliers, one on Amazon and eBay. Turned in the eBay guy today, lots of shady stuff. Left bad feedback for Amazon seller.

    And it'll be asked, so:

    eBay guy:

    * Said he was US seller, was in Hong Kong
    * Marked item as shipped to USPS on 1/1
    * Item not shipped until 7 days later, drop shipped from vendor
    * Battery didn't fit, so I asked to return it, he dragged the return out 8 days
    * I return battery and his address is fraudulent, it shows up at my doorstep "return to sender". Paypal refunded me.
    * I look at battery more carefully today and notice it was a whitewash job, used battery with new stickers. They never refurbed the battery, just took a pull and put new stickers on it.

    Amazon guy:
    * Marked as shipped, tracking number issued
    * 7 days go by and I question why package hasn't been handed off to USPS
    * They say "sorry, shipper can't find package, we send new"
    * 2 days later the vendor they drop shipped from actually ships package with original tracking number
    * Package arrived 3 days after it was given to USPS

So much dishonesty and lack of transparency by these folks. They just run an Amazon/eBay store and drop ship products from vendors, only work they do is twiddle some keys. Fortunately I'm not out any real $$$ and I got what I needed.

Been keeping up with you on FB glad to see you are going strong. Is this to replace the Mazak or just to add capacity?

That is part of a double cardin driveline. A double Cardin is an el cheapo version of a CV joint. It's kind of a real piece of shit that the automotive companies concocted that was cheap to make and allowed wrong driveline geometry to function for a little while.

They tear themselves apart in operation. A CV does not

This part is the socket off a custom 42 degree high angle cv , the process makes the surface .004 113 rockwell for a superior friction reducer.
