    Default Accurpro "brand"

Who makes or made these measuring tools. I have a depth mic. set and a large blade mic., both marked Accupro and made in USA. I had thought this was the MSC house brand, but I don't much of anything in "The Big Book".

I'm not sure if they are affiliated, but their micrometers look like Scherr Tumico's.

Accupro is a mystery grab bag. I've purchased Accupro items that were as good as anything on the market. The next product would be junk. It's about the same luck with Phase II.

ST Industries owns the Accupro brand. Much of it seems to be imports under their trade name.

There's a history here. There was the Tubular Micrometer Co, later Tumico. They merged with Scherr. Reed Micrometer co. was bought somewhere along the way. This became Scherr-Tumico and later ST.
