As the product manager of a company that makes such equipment, I am curious to hear what experience people have with inline milling tool measurement equipment that is camera based.
Examples:
CU2 Tool - Conoptica
or
YouTube
I understand that for most machine shops this is way too high-end, as many machine shops don't even have laser tool setters on their machines. I still hope there are some people on this forum experienced in using such equipment.
So please, are equipment like this ever worth the money? Does it live up to its hype? Don't hold anything back.
